As part of Canada's presidency of the G7 it has instituted the G7 GovAI Grand Challenges, inviting teams to submit 5m videos addressing one of four problem areas.
Blawx has been submitted as a solution for problem 2, which is described as follows:
"Design a solution to streamline the interpretation and application of rules to increase consistency and compliance, and to reduce the cognitive load of employees."
The video entry below illustrates the use of Blawx to encode procurement laws, regulations, and policies, and to generate an AI-powered chat bot capable of providing trustworthy and transparent answers to questions about those rules.
Shortlisting of finalists will happen in early 2026, with finalists announced in February, and an awards ceremony in March of 2026.
